Sorry, but pegasus is _not_ a commercial product. All of David Harris'
programs are distributed free of charge. He does sell manuals for all of the
pegasus products to support his development efforts, but they are not
mandatory. To answer the question 'is it worth getting'? YES.

Subject: Winsock Instruction Manual?
Sorry if this is a frequently asked question, but I just found this group and
didn't see an FAQ.
I'm new to SLIP and new to computing in any meaningful capacity. I located
and configured Tattam's 1.0. But I couldn't find any documentation on using
it. I stumbled around and got it to work most of the time. But I
consistently have to log in twice to get a connection. It also seemed to lock
up constantly in the log in process. By fat fingering every key on the
keyboard I found that ^[ will abort the script file and let me relog. I would
like to find out more. Also, I would like to find out where/how you write
things like mail filters.
Is there and FAQ? Are there any documentation sources -- particularly
references accesible to novices?
Thanks,
Don Heffernan

Thanks for the response. Please let me know if the WinVN people come
up with a solution.
